TWO MONTHS from today (May 12th) I will be starting orientation for an internship with the FWS on Cape Cod. !!!

18 calluses, 3 new semi-permanent lumps on my shins, umpteen large bruises, 1 toe blister, sore muscles most days, 1 rope burn, pinched feet, and 1 ripped off callus later and I'm still climbing.

On the road to the Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow (CLfT) conference, imagining sleeping in bunk beds with tiny mattresses, in a dank little cabin trying to keep warm by the wood stove at night...however, it's five star comfort and the most beautiful cabins you can think of when we arrive at the High Lonesome Ranch.
